It should not be a problem. Reading tapes with a smaller blocksize should 
never cause trouble. Reading tapes with a larger blocksize than that 
specified can cause trouble, the antidote to which is to ensure 
that 'readblocksize' is set to the maximal blocking factor and that the 
device is in variable block size mode.
