Hi. I'm facing a cygwin layer problem amanding a windows server.

gtar returns:

  Warning: Cannot stat: File name too long

I found this won't get resolved until cygwin uses the NT API
and drops support for Win9x.

I searched the mailing list archives and I didn't find how to
fix it. So I wonder if someone has any hint. Is there any
windows native file utility that amanda could use to dump
the files ?
