Hello all.

I built 2.5.0p2 on Solaris 8 successfully, and have been slowly
deploying. It worked on the first system, but that was only one small
test. I installed it on another server and it worked for a small (/etc)
filesystem, but core dumped when I tried to backup another system, a
little bigger (~40G).

Further, it was not only that the run on that box failed, the results
from most of the other DL entries, other systems, linux, that previously
ran fine, went missing. How might that happen? Seems odd to me, but I'm
really just getting started with amanda.

So on the box that cored, I look at the amandad debug log. The last line
says that there is a
"Write error on stream 48066: broken pipe"

Here is the traceback:

root@tolar# pstack core20060928
core 'core20060928' of 27153: amandad

Ideas? Comments?
I will be running it again today and seeing what I can do with it.

Thanks
Bob
