I get these messages on several smbclient-installations and haven't
found any good answer yet. This was introduced by Samba 3.x (don't know
the exact release ...) and when I first noticed that I issued some
requests to the Samba-team. Never got a good solution ... maybe we
should contact them again.

But afaik the backups should be OK, it is very likely that only the
samba-message has changed its content with that release and is therefore
not "ignored" by Amanda anymore. This is just guessing, please compare
your backups with your data to be sure on this ...
