Has anyone migrated from BRU to Amanda?   I did google, but no significant hits.

We are using a Quantum SDLT320 tape drive with autoloader with 8 slots.

slots 1 + 2 backup job 1 incremental daily / differential weekly
slots 3 + 4 backup job 2 incremental daily / differential weekly
slots 5 + 6 backup job 3 incremental daily / differential weekly
slots 7 + 8 Full backup of all 3 jobs every month.
Amanda schedules backups differently than most backup programs out there. Read the archives/docs/FAQ for more hints as to the philosophy and come on back with specific questions about your setup.
