Sure, a generic one:

define tapetype YOUR_CHOICE_OF_NAME {

        comment "if you want any"

        length   ###    # native (not compressed) capacity minus
                        # a couple percent for marketing hype
                        # (units of mbyte or gbyte)

        filemark ###    # zero to 0.05% of above number
                        # it has relatively little effect
                        # (units of kbyte or mbyte)
}



General question -- has anyone ever simply used the native capacity
and a filemark of zero AND been bitten by amanda because of it?
