modifying disklist

Hello,
I tried to change my host in the disklist from :
HOSTNAME to HOSTNAME.DOMAIN
but now when i try to restore a file it said that there's no index and
I cannot restore files !
I also change directories' name in the log and index folders (inside
amanda home folder).
Is there a way to change disklist hostname without messing up all the
restore ? :)
