Michael:
How did you set up the connection through the Firewall?
Did you use the --with-portrange=xxx,yyy and --with-udpportrange=aaa,bbb
options?
Do the port ranges you defined for Amanda match the portals opened in the
firewall?
What do the debug files in /tmp/amanda tell you about the connection
attempts?
Hopefully these questions will point you down the right pathway to a
solution.

Subject: backup DMZ host ???
My client has a proxy-arp DMZ, on which resides a host that I want to
backup to a NAT'ed, private network Amanda server.
I keep getting this error:
# sudo -u backup amcheck DailySet1 -cltw
Amanda Tape Server Host Check
. . .
ERROR: don.platinumaire.net: [host bluetrout.PlatinumAire.net: port
61906 not secure]
Notice, don is the DMZ host, and bluetrout is the router.
What am I missing?
