Howdy,
I'm trying to get Amanda 2.4.1p1 (from sunfreeware binary package,
I can't build from source on that particular machine for unknown reason)
working on Solaris 7, but I'm stuck. This is a known problem, but
it doesn't seem like any of the fixes are working (see below):
# /usr/local/sbin/amcheck daily
Amanda Tape Server Host Check
-----------------------------
/Disk2/AMANDA: 2629221 KB disk space available, that's plenty.
NOTE: skipping tape-writable test.
Tape DailySet10 label ok.
Server check took 0.069 seconds.
Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
ERROR: 192.168.0.73: [host u03: port 59982 not secure]
Client check: 1 host checked in 0.181 seconds, 1 problem found.

# cat /Disk2/usr-local/etc/amanda/daily/.amandahosts
192.168.0.73 root
192.168.1.71 amanda
192.168.0.60 amanda
192.168.0.65 amanda
I've tried chmod 'u+s' amchieck as well, to no avail. There isn't any NAT nor
firewall, it's an intranet.
Can any of you advise how to debug this?
TIA,
