dumps >2Gb on holding disk?

Can the latest stable amanda handle leaving dumps larger than 2G on
the holding disk? I'm using the pre-compiled 2.4.1p1 from
sunfreeware.com and it runs the larger dumps straight to tape even
though the filesystem can handle them.
