   Would it be possible for you to provide a .src.rpm, or the .spec file,
or just a list of the changes you made to the .spec?  I managed to get
Amanda 2.4.3 for Red Hat 7.3 and 2.4.4 for 8.0 by tweaking the source RPMs
from rawhide.  For various reasons I never managed to build 2.4.4 on 7.3, 
but I also didn't try too hard.  I'd be interested to see what made it 
work.
