Relabel them all in one go, and forget the labeling until such time
as a tape is damaged and becomes unusable. In modern drives, that
will be quite some time, I have 50 some passes on some of my DDS2
tapes right now, and the drive hasn't blinked its leds for a
cleaning now in several months. No miss-fires. And the wife
smokes!

Are you intending to just run amanda mon-fri, but not on the
weekends?

In that case then dumpcycle should be 7 days or 1 week, its
interchangeable.
