On the test dump I'm running now, I see in the amdump log that estimates
are indeed finishing. It finishes the following phases: setting
estimates, getting estimates, analyzing estimates, generating schedule.
Then it proceeds to the dumps. It's dumped 3 file systems successfully
so far, and 1 has failed (data timeout). The one that failed, the dump
process is still sitting out there, and a new one was created for
another dump.

I don't think the network speed is the issue - we've run several tests
that indicate otherwise. You can look at the dump stats below:
2 machines, the dump rates are anywhere from 200-800KB/s.:
