Running 7.1 on multiple sites now, on Windows 2008R2, 2012 and Linux
without any problems. Dedup, Node replication and node failover working
great.
TDP for VE with dedup and compression is impressive, needed for remote
location backup where the line is only 100Mbit.

Operations Center on 7.1 is a major improvement too, since you can set
risk settings per node.
I've been told 6.3.4.300 contains performance improvements regarding
deduplication that did not make it in 7.1.0, but so far we have not seen
any problems with 7.1.
And since 7.1.1 schedule is target end of 3Q2014, I would not wait for it
but benefit now. You can manage 6.3.4 TSM servers with OC 7.1 too if your
hub server is 7.1.
So upgrade one server to 7.1 and manage the rest as spokes.

So I am very curious why Karel says "don't". Could you please explain,
Karel?
What problems are you seeing or having?
