Hi,

Used it with adding slots, io slots and drives to lib and worked. Just make
sure lib is not being used and all drives are empty at the time of running the
audit. Co-worker tried it with lib in use and drives mounted and ended up with
one big mess to solve :D

Kind regards,

Karel

We have used the refreshstate option several times with our VTLs when we add
slots. It works well.

Haven't tried it, but I'm quite eager to hear what from you once you're done.
It doesn't seem to be very complicated to implement and I've always wondered
why TSM requires a restart when changing anything in the library configuration
(or deleting all paths, all drives the library and then rebuilding everything,
imagine doing that on a LM or a TSM server that shares 18 drives with 9 NAS
filers ;-) )
