As is often preached on this list, detailed descriptions and the exact
errors always help. Otherwise, there's not much anyone can do to help,
especially in this case as it's not obvious what the problem is. So,
shutdown your TSM server, and run the db restore, then cut and paste the
errors. I hate to be harsh, but "it's not working for me.." is not a lot
to go on.

Yes you run this when your tivoli server is down if you want to pick a
special database volume you need to put the volumename (XXXXXXX) in the
command dsmserv restore db devclass=tapeclass volumenames=XXXXXXX

is not working for me
actually i want to restore some folders in windows
Client, current database not picking up backup sets
i'm thinking of restoring my last week full backup
database.it would help me that.

when i tried

"dsmserv restore db devclass=tapeclass
volumename=dbbackup "
is not working.
i need to run this after shutdown my tivoli server
rite.

i appreciate ur help in this
