Yes you run this when your tivoli server is down if you want to pick a special 
database volume you need to put the volumename (XXXXXXX) in the command dsmserv 
restore db devclass=tapeclass volumenames=XXXXXXX

is not working for me
actually i want to restore some folders in windows
Client, current database not picking up backup sets
i'm thinking of restoring my last week full backup
database.it would help me that.

when i tried

is not working.
i need to run this after shutdown my tivoli server
rite.
