The Export NODE function would seem to fit your requirements.
tsm> exp no <nodename> devc=3570dev usedv=<location of text file containing
vols used on export>
A variety of FILEDATA options includes exporting ONLY the space managed
files, so we would assume that by selecting FILEDATA=ALL, that would include
the space managed files.
Hope this helps..
btw - wouldn't like to give an estimate for how long it would take to
restore 130GB from a backupset - perhaps someone else with experience would?

We are going to rebuild a TSM environment from scratch but want to retain a

enough to hold all the recalled data (130GB in our case) and later on
migrate it back. Apart from that option, what do I do if I haven't got the
necessary disk space available?
I could store on tape and the only thing that came to my mind was
backupsets. I tried to create one using the HSM filespace but it only wrote
the directories to tape, not the files. Would this be a case for an
export/import?
