Hi Eric,
I assume, for performance reasons you wil not make one big filespace per
disk. But about your question: I think that there will always be an little
bit of space wich can't be used because. On AIX the Inode uses an littlebit
of space wich can't be used for TSM-files. I could not find any exact
information on it. But I always do it with tryal and error. On one of our
servers we use 18gb disks and the amount of data wich can't be use is about
4 to 6 Mb per logical volume.
