As others have said, both technologies are superb. Only drawback to the 9840
is the cost of the media. If your going to be dealing with terabytes of data
this could be a concern. Currently the 3590 cartridge is priced around $28
for the 20GB capacity. The 9840, at 20GB, is priced around $75. So do the
math and see how it impacts you.
