Lau,
Why not try a simple ftp to see what network transfer rates you can
actually get. You may have a router or something in between which is
causing the bottleneck. In my experience the network transfer rate
will generally be only limited by the network infrastructure. We are
getting a ntr of about 15 GB/hr over standard 100BT from UNIX to UNIX,
although it is generally a bit smaller for NT.
