I'm certain this is an often asked question, but I can't seem to find the
answer in my ADSM Admin Guide. And while I'm asking, is there a FAQ for
this mailing list?

My situation is that I've got a 40GB database at 62% utilization. I've
reduced it as far as I can using the `reduce db' command. I figure I
should be able to squish it down to around 26GB or so to reclaim some
database volumes, but I'm not familliar with the steps for doing this.
I'd originally thought that a simple backup and restore db would do this
for me... bzzzzt. Well at least I go some practice restoring my database.
It only took 6 hrs.

Must I use the salvage utilities to do this, and if so are there any
pitfalls of which I should be wary? My server is ADSM 3.1.1.5 running
under AIX 4.2.1.

Thanks for any pointers.
