The answer is "yes". All files are contained in file spaces, so delete the
file spaces and there goes the files.
Did you know that you can rename a node on ADSM. You could rename ClientA
to ClientB on ADSM and save on network traffic on the initial full backup.

Subject: Removal of filespaces and files from ADSM
In this given scenario does cleanup happen accordingly?
A client Node(client A) is replaced with a new Client Node(client B) as a
result of a hardware upgrade. (Client A's data is copied to
Client B)
Client A is removed immediately from the Daily backup schedule.
Client B is added immediately to the Daily backup schedule.
After a given period of time Client A filespaces are deleted.
Will all Active and InActive files from Client A be removed from the ADSM
D/B at the time the filespaces are deleted?
