Rose,

Is it possible that the backup is trying to go to tape
(for whatever reason, no room in STG pool or MAXSIZE set)
and the ADSM Exchange Agent doesn't have the
"Wait For Tape Mounts" option specified?

Bring up the Exchange Agent GUI
Click on the "dsm" (ADSM Server) in the backup tab
Click on "Edit" button (this brings up the Options Editor)
Is the "Wait For Tape Mounts" option chosen?

If it isn't, check the selection box, press OK, and
retry the backup.

If it is, check the ADSM Server activity log to see what
messages might help us pinpoint the problem.

Hi all,

I am getting the following error in my excsfull.log.  Does anyone know what
I should be looking for?  I have other exchange servers running the Connect
Agent and they are not having the same problem.
