You should check with IBM service on this one as I believe there was a problem
with EOV processing in
certain cases.  What should happen in this case (whenever a tape being written
to is filled) is that the ADSM
server continues writing to another tape in the pool.  If you have no more
tapes available, then you would get
an out of storage space error...not an internal server error.

What level of ADSM server are you using?

The tapepool has colocation on and all of the volumes have some info on
them.  I think I might try to turn colocation off or make a volume empty to
see if that fixes the problem.  I'll let you know.
