Is anyone else seeing this type of error on either 8mm or DLT drives?

04/11/1996 19:57:31  ANR8302E I/O error on drive DRIVE3 (/dev/mt3) (OP=WRITE,
                      CC=400, KEY=4D, ASC=00, ASCQ=00).
04/11/1996 19:57:32  ANR1411W Access mode for volume A0004 now set to
                      "read-only" due to write error.

This happens when the tape fills up.  The tape is not put into "Full" status,
which creates a problem.  We have seen this on both 8mm and DLT.

I have an open problem with support, but so far they have not been able to
solve it for me.
