Yes!  We also see ASCQ=02 on our 8500C drives.

They told us the same thing, but I'm not sure I believe it.  We started
seeing these problems in early February.  Prior to that, we never saw a
single occurance.  And no, I haven't been able to figure out what we changed
on our server that might have caused this.

Can you tell me how to determine which microcode level a drive has?  We
are on AIX 3.2.5.  I have tried lscfg and this is what I get.  I don't
see anything that looks like 730 or 7J0.
