I assume you want to archive all the files in the sub-tree structure.
If so, all you have to do is select "Archive by file specification...",
the specify the pathname to the top of the sub-tree structure with a
wildcard (i.e., /foo/bar/*), select the "Include subdirectories"
option, and then "List files".  This will still probably take awhile to
come up with the full list of files.  At this point, you can select the
"Select All Files" option, and away you go.

You should be aware that you won't be able to restore all of these files
and preserve the tree structure that contains them.  ADSM Retrieve does
not re-create the tree structure upon retrieval.  This is one of several
"design mis-features" about Archive/Retrieve that has caused our user
community much consternation.
