I have an IBM 3583 Library with FC connection via SDG with 3 tape drive and my data cartridge are 60 "IBM Totalstorage LTO Ultrim 100G" and 120 "Sony LTX 100G". I'm using win2k with TSM Server Ver 5.2.3.
IBM tapes work fine.
20 Sony tapes was faulty with error on write after 4 month.
IBM support says: "IBM tapes do not present errors, call Sony.
Sony says: "You are the only european customer with this problem, our media are not bad. Ask IBM"
