A Windows 2000 Server client node doesn't wrap up an Incremental backup session the way it should. The excerpt is from the dsmsched.log following a correct run of the backup, the STATUS reporting, and the QUERY for the new schedule (the next run). This client records the first line of the excerpt (it's at the end of an otherwise successful backup) and nothing else. Does not get a new schedule so it sits there waiting for the Scheduler service to be stopped and started. The Scheduler service will then check in every 4 hours and run the next backup at the scheduled time and stop in the same place. It used to work correctly -- nothing that I know of has changed. Win2k3 SP2 had/has issues with certain NICs and the TCP Chimney thing but this is a 2000 box. I'm ready to pull the pin (on the grenade) (for the server, not me...)
