Anybody have idea how to stop already running backup, which is scheduled (and not started from the GUI)? If I just stop the service, does it set Exchange 2003 to normal status?
That would be best way, cancel the session on the server. Otherwise you can restart the scheduler service and it will end the session. However, if its still within the backup window it may restart the backup again.
So you mean, when I restart the Scheduler service the Exchange will be released from the backup mode and additional logs (during the running backup) will be used as normally?
