What Disk Layout do you use for your TSM DB (TSM 5.5 and/or 6.2)

Hi!

we are expieriencing "severe" problems in the following environement:

- TSM Node with > 10 Mio Objects
- PIT Restores

So we made an intrumentation trace which says:

So regarding InstTput ... the value seems to be far to low. IBM says: should be >20

Our Disk-Layout for DB Files could be optimized as we only have one lvol for all Volumes.
/dev/vg33/lvol1 136282112 51255646 79712318 39% /tsm1/db

Now i would be interested in your disk layout and (if available) your disk read an write
