Hi all...

I need your help with some problem with my GUI interface (ISC)

I got TSM 5.3, running on AIX server.

When I enter the GUI interface, I press the "Standard" policy domain and when

I click on "Clients and nodes", it seems there are no nodes available, but in

the CLI, when I type "Q nodes domain=standard" I can see all of the nodes.

Everything is working great and there are no errors on routine backups.

How is it possible?

Can someone help me PLZ?

i gatherer from your notes , that you are talking about ISC and Admin Center -
strange thought that you could not see ur node under 'Client and Nodes" under your TSM servername..
try to check your TSM server connection if set (select your TSM Servername on the Policy Domains and Client Nodes> use th drop down menu and you can see 'Modify Server Connection' and check which TSM admin is connecting.
also under the drop down menu is " Use Command line" and go through couple of menu (CLI is not as pretty though) but will provide u a tool to check - run q node from this CLI

Well, first I want to say that all the administrative users have this problem,

and we all login with an administrative user.

Another thing is that I tried reconnecting the server without any success

(Delete server connection -> Add server connection)...

I'll try using the web CLI and I'll tell you the resaults.

Thanks for the help

When you installed the 5.3 TSM filesets, did you install the:

tivoli.tsm.server.webcon

fileset. If not, the ISC/ADMIN Center can act flaky for some parts but work for others.

Hi...

Well i checked this issue and the file is there.

Anyway I forgot to mention that I could see those nodes normally, but

suddenly, two weeks ago, when i created a new node (from the ISC) and

refreshed the window, all of the nodes dissapeared.

Any errors in WebSphere logs? Look to me like problem with some characters in the name of last registered node...
