Using Device Class DISK to backup tsm database

Do anyone know how to use device class "DISK" to backup the database? In my tsm server, I cannot select device class "DISK" to backup the database, the only device is "LTO_Class2".

Please help!

You can't, it must be sequential media. But you can create device class of type FILE and do backup to it - it goes to disk too.

I backed mine up to NetApp disk using the file device class for my smaller servers. Works fine as long as you are aware of the risks.
