Upgrading from 8113 to 819

Hello all,

We are upgrading TSM from 8113 to 819. I understand from 812 the password requirements have changed. We had a simple password in 8113 - just 5 characters.

My question is - if I upgrade to 819:
- Will it force me to change the password?
- Will it lock me out?
- Will it stop replication?
- Will it stop client connectivity until I change the password for all the clients to the new requirements?
- Will I be able to access OpsCenter after the upgrade if I dont change the password?
 
To do that I need to be able to get inside TSM right? Will it let me in in the first place?
 
Yes, you will be let in. But when you update you pwd, or create a new, then the policy will enforce the pwd length.
