Hey all,
I'm currently running TSM 4.2.1.0 on W2K and having issues with the TSM Server service crashing. I consulted with Tivoli who reccommended that I upgrade to at least ver 4.2.1.6 where the issue (APAR IC31884 ) was resolved. My question is, with so many upgrades between 4.2.1.0 and 5.x can someone help by suggesting a stable level to upgrade to?. I have read here of tape mount issues with 4.2.1.6.......many posts point to 4.2.1.15 as a good choice.
The system is currently:
Win2k w/SP2
Dell 6450 w/dual 700mhz
Ram 2gig
4 STK 9840 drives
150 nodes
