Unable To restore oracle databse

Hello All,
We are using TDP for Oracle vesrion 5.5.1.0 (OS :- Windiows 2003 server Sp2 enterprise edtion ),
we are trying to restore oracle database but restoration get stuck(hang) for long time without producing any output or error

Please help to resolve this issue

What does the TSM Activity log say? Are there any requests for tape mounts or does it produce any notices?

we have nothing observed any error or information related to this problem in activity log
Restoration get start and stuck immediately, tape is also mounted in drive (status : IN USE

Do you see any data being transferred at all (q sess)? What happens if you try to restore from a previous backup? Do your backups hang also?

yeah something like this happened to me also. In q ses data will be in send wait and there were no files created for the first 6 hours! I was on very low bandwidth but still the first file got created in winodws after 6 hours although q ses showed me more than 5-10 Gb transferred!!

I dint find the root casue though!! This could happen!! tell me your findings. I thisnk sendwait is the key here!! what does q ses hwo for you?
