Unable to install admin center on ISC 601

An error occurred while updating the Integrated Solutions Console Portal Server class path. See c:\program files\IBM\ISC601\Tivoli\dsm\logs\ac_install.log



ac_install.log doesn't provide any helpfull information to figure our why not installing.

Admin Center to install in same directory.

Failed Install ISC 601

Same problem I think - old version in /opt/ISC, Admin Center tried to install to /opt/ISC601, but apparently found an errant(?) environment variable and seems to have puf files somewhere else (/opt/ISC?) since the log showed lots of "0" (zero) length files and failed. We tried uninstalling, manually changing the install directory, allowing the default install directory, installed (don't remember version)Java, all without success.
Anyone else found the happy-making sequence?
