Provides a central point of contact for access to systems, applications and technical problem resolution while proactively managing networks, information and data center facilities.
The Remote Storage Problem Management team provides support for problem solving, questions, issues, and support of storage management items that have been escalated from 1st level.
Knowledge of and work experience with Network support (Broad Knowledge which includes Windows NT & 2000)
Strong knowledge of and work experience with the Windows NT and XP operating systems
Strong knowledge and work experience with Tivoli Storage Management (TSM)
Strong knowledge and work experience with backup and restore workstation technologies
Strong knowledge and work experience troubleshooting with TSM
Effective oral and written communication skills
Exhibit strong team player qualities in a team environment
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and priorities
Strong focus on customer service
