TSM WEB Administrative Interface (1580) on TSM 5.4

Hello,

Anyone out there is using the Classic Web Admin Interface (1580) on a TSM 5.4 server?

I have some customers migrating from 5.2 to 5.4 and they would like having the Classic Web Admin in parrallel of the ISC for some time.

For as far as I know, the Classic Web Admin isn't available anymore with TSM 5.4

According to the post, the old web interface works for Windows.

I tried it

I tried to put the GUI interface on to a 5.4.x machine, but it would not work for me. I guess it works for 5.3, but not 5.4. I could be wrong.

Works for us...

We use the web interface with 5.4. It still works, but, we've been trying to use it less and less. I've been using the ISC, it takes a little getting used to, but, works just the same.

For me web administrative Interface is working fine on 5.4 with AIX.But i have one doubt is there any licence is req for using the web admin or just any one who purchase the TSM server can download the web administartion package and use it.

Just use it. No additional licensing required.
