TSM reproting

Hi all,



If I use TSM 5.2, I could send report via e-mail ?

How to write activity log of TSM server to text file ?

Using s Dos windows (if using windows) type: dsmadmc -id=admin -pa=xxxxx 'Q ACTLOG' > path\Q_ACTLOG.txt.

Path is the one yu desire. Q_ACTLOG.txt is an arbitrary one. Choose the one you prefer.

you have to be in the directory of the TSM B/A client except if it is in you path statement.

Rules are the same for other platforms.

When schedule backup process implement, it writes log to txt file :



06/020/2005 06:08:07 Normal File--> 1,316,507 \\center2-bk\g$\db_tinhcuoc\BILL1_2005.tar [Sent]

06/20/2005 06:08:08 Normal File--> 23,936,145 \\center2-bk\g$\db_tinhcuoc\BILL2_2005.tar [Sent]



Is the any method to view log of manual backup process as logs above ?



I only see summary log

Total number of bytes transferred: 1.28 MB

Data transfer time: 0.36 sec

Network data transfer rate: 3,659.22 KB/sec
