TSM node IP address issue

Hi,
I made a wierd observation in my tsm server after changing the IP address of the node.

the q node <nodename> f=d
displays incorrect IP address and TCP/IP name.

I am able to backup the system via dsmc
I am not able to open the webclient for the node. The Windows IE terminates.

you can update the node's ipaddress in the TSM Server DB...
UPDATE NODE nodename HLADDRESS=X.X.X.X

Replace X.X.X.X for the hladdress entry.

Depending on what you put for the web gui address entry in the node properties on the TSM Server, you may need to update that as well.

Open the client GUI on the server with wrong TCP/IP may correct the name.

When you reconnect to the server ip address will be changed.
