TSM DB Restore from Virtual Volumes @ different location

Hi!

could not find it in the documentation .. so:

restoring a database (without recoverylog) from virtual volumes:

Volume Seq
Volume Name 1
VOL.DBB.291788508 2
VOL.DBB.291788608





I dont have a change to test this, but need it for documentation
Which one is correct?
/opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmserv restore db devcl=<devcl> vol=VOL.DBB.291788508 commit=yes


/opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmserv restore db devcl=<devcl> vol=VOL.DBB.291788508,VOL.DBB.291788608 commit=yes

Either is correct depending on how many volumes are required to restore the DB. If more than one use commas with no spaces and make sure the volumes are in order.

Also for virtual volumes you'll need a good devconfig and volhist file.

i thought it had to be like you describe, but that fact that there are sequence numbers made me hope it would be sufficient to tell him "the first in line".
