TSM DB Maximum reduction

Folks,

Just need to get clear on this.

After running "estimate dbreorgstats", in order to "get back" DB space, you have to do the following in sequence: DSMSERV UNLOADDB, DSMSERV LOADFORMAT and DSMSERV LOADDB

Clarification: this requires the TSM server to be halted, right?

I just want to make sure. It has been a while since I did one.

Yes, in order to do the unload, format and load the TSM server must be shutdown. (actually, you're starting the server in single process mode to perform each act)
