TSM Database Backup Administrative Schedule failing

Hi All,

I have configured a daily incremental backup schedule for TSM Server database using the Administrative Schedule using the command backup db.
but my schedule is failing whereas backup is running successfully manually.

Please advice and help to find the cause and relevant solution.

Could please provide the errors logged in the ac log

Check the ANR####. Is there any scratch tape in the library? What is the devclass used?

im taking the backup in file device class on the server itself.... and not getting ne thing except the schedule failed message with result 3..... while my other schedules for the mail and database servers are running successfully on Tape library...

You need to review the actlog from the time the job is scheduled until the failure message displayed. You should be able to locate the ANR#### that explain the failure.
