TSM complaining no space available in storage pool

Hi,

I have a problem where TSM is complaing there is no space available in storage pool and all successor pools when migrating.

I can see the Primary Disk pool is 100% but the secondary tape pool is only sitting at 61%. There are plenty of scratch tapes available.

It is constantly trying to load the same tape from the tapepool over and over again but this keeps failing saying it is the end-of-volume reached. I have tried updating the tape to readw but this never worked. The tape says it is 66% full and filling.

Does anyone know how to get out of this loop?

What is the max number of scratch tapes set to in the tape pool that it's trying to migrate into?

Scratch tapes set to 20 and had maxed out!!

I have set this to 25 and now migrating.

Why 25? Why not set to a high value and avoid this problem again?
