tsm client 5.3.2.2 ans1950e

Hello!

I've upgraded tsm client on a cluster node to version 5.3.2.2

since that scheduled backups fails with error:

"3/22/2006 23:59:14 CreateSnapshotSet(): pAsync->QueryStatus() returns hr=VSS UNKNOWN ERROR

03/22/2006 23:59:14 ANS1950E Backup using Microsoft volume shadow copy failed.



03/22/2006 23:59:15 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'DAILY_INCR' failed. Return code = 12."



Also, when I run a manual backup it runs and completes,but backup 0 files.



I'll appreciate any help I can get!

is your servers Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service is disabled? start it and set it to manual...

or---

if you got resourceutilization value greater than 4 on your dsm option file, , disable it and try again.

Volume shadow copy services is set as manual.



I have no parameter as "resourceutilization value " in my dsm.opt file.



Any more ideas?
