Hi Guys,

I have an issue with this and I'm not sure if I'm getting the backup successful or not.

I have an AIX TSM server and a Windows Fastback server backing up 2 Windows clients. On my Fastback server I'm backing up "C" and "D" drive of a Windows hosts.

Here's the scenario, I have Fastback weekly backup for the "C" drive of client1 and client2. Then, it will be backed up by my TSM server as well as my "weekly backup".

Why am I getting the error "Error: Could Not Backup client1 C:\!" but as you can see in the logs it says that I have a "successful incremental backup". My question is, am I really not getting the backup or it's just a false alert? I checked my backup for client1 it's just that I'm not sure on how I can check if I really got a succesfull backup since it is done via incremental backup.

Please let me knw if you need more logs. I haven't posted my script here as I want it to be in private or let me know how I can post it here in private view.

Hi kaelo,

1.When you do a fastback mount of the C: drive of CLIENT1 you can see all the contents or not?.
2.Check the TSM Fastback mount script which is used by TSM BA Client for C:\! entry ...

Mani
