TSM and Exchange 2010 space usage

I'm currently using TSM 6.2 for Mail to backup an Exchange 2010 DAG. The problem is that since I'm only doing full backups, its using a significant amount of storage. (size of all databases x number of redundant copies retained and this adds up quick!!) To cut back on storage usage, the only options I can come up with are:

-switch to incremental + weekly full backups
-enable deduplication of exchange backups (I'm not even sure if this is available as an option).


How do you deal with your Exchange backup storage usage? Do you just accept that it uses a ton of storage for its backup to TSM?

I ended up switching to incremental + weekly full backups. This significantly dropped storage use.

This command whe run from the tpexecc folder will backup all databases
tdpexcc.exe BACKUP "*" FULL /BACKUPMETHOD=VSS /BACKUPDESTINATION=TSM
