TSM 6.1.2.0 Restore

How do I restore a TSM AIX 6.1.2.0 db to a new system without having the volhist file.
the command "dsmserv restore db devc=DEVCLASS vol=VOL" is not working.
I only have the DB Tape, no volh...

Please help..

Hi,

for TSM 6.x you MUST have volume history file. As DB2 was introduced, volhist now contain much more info about DB backup volumes.
